Volunteer Team FBC Concord

First Baptist Church of Concord, Knoxville Tennessee visited Punta Arenas, San Gregorio and Puerto Williams during the first week of April. They came to give medical attention and information, but most importantly to share the Gospel of Jesus' love for every person they met.

In San Gregorio there are many children who are in need of love.

Younger children learned about the importance of good nutrition and that they are loved by God.

Pastor Eliseo Merino worked with the team in Puerto Williams. He was their first encounter with the team as well as spending time sharing the Good News with those in the waiting rooms of the clinic and Red Cross.

Cristina is the last full blooded Yagan. She and her husband visited with the team in Puerto Williams.

In gratitude for the work done for the community the mayor presented certificates to each of the volunteers.
