The population of South Chile represents the most Xtreme diversity. There are more than six million Southern Chilenos, a population of mixed European decent such as Spanish, German, British, Slavic, etc. 80% of these still have an Xtreme need to know Jesus as their Lord and Savior.

The SCSG is seeking to reach out to the people in this diverse region of Chile so that every person will have the opportunity to hear and respond to the Gospel message, resulting in vibrant reproducible New Testament churches. Xtreme geography that includes a coastline that runs 1,500 miles, snow covered volcanoes, crystal clear lakes, glaciers, fiords, and the Straits of Magellan
Xtreme variety of industry including mining, vineyards, orchards, rice and wheat fields, forests, salmon hatcheries, fishing, dairy farming, sheep and cattle ranches and a growing tourist industry.
Xtreme living conditions where some live in a metropolitan area of nearly 1,000,000 and yet there are isolated villages with less than twenty people. Eighty percent of the population lives in urban areas of 10,000 people or more.
Xtreme division of resources and education. There is a very unequal dispersion of wealth with a small minority having control over a large percentage of the income. Higher education is very important. More than 90% of the population is considered literate yet in rural areas up to 30% do not read or write.

Pray that God will move mightily among the more than 1,000,000 professionals and the nearly 5,000,000 working class Chilenos who need Christ as their Lord and Savior.
Pray for leaders to be called out and trained to begin new works. Pray that a clear vision for church multiplication and growth will be planted among Chilean believers.
